Still a Gin Thang
For this recipe, I paired Indoggo Strawberry Gin with fresh strawberries, basil, fresh lemon juice, and a bit of balsamic to bridge the flavors. It’s bright and refreshing and you still get all the flavor from the gin.
Ingredients:
2 oz Indoggo Gin
2 fresh strawberries, sliced
5 basil leaves
1/2 oz simple syrup
1/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice
1 tsp balsamic vinegar
1/4 of a lemon, sliced into 2 wedges
Fresh basil for garnish
Directions:
1) Add ingredients to a cocktail shaker
2) Muddle to infuse flavors and oils from the fruit and basil
3) Fill shaker with ice and shake passionately for 15 seconds
4) Double strain into a rocks glass with ice
5) Garnish with a fresh basil leaves
