Looking for some summertime vibes? Then try this spiked lemonade made with fresh strawberries, mint, and lemon juice.

You can make this with whiskey or vodka, your choice! I chose to use Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey and HH Bespoke Vodka.

Ingredients:

- 1.5 oz Uncle Nearest 1856 Premium Whiskey or HH Bespoke Vodka

- 1 oz fresh lemon juice

- 1 oz simple syrup

- 3-4 mint leaves

- 3-4 strawberries

- Sparkling Water

- Lemon wheel or sprig of fresh mint for garnish

Directions:

Slice strawberries in half. Add them to a shaker with the simple syrup and lemon juice

Muddle the strawberries to soften them, then add the mint. Continue to muddle with the mint.

Add your spirit of choice.

Add ice to the shaker, then shake passionately for 10 secs.

Strain into a highball glass filled with ice. 

Top off with sparking water and garnish with a lemon wheel or sprig of fresh mint.
