Smoking Botanist

Happy hour at home just got better.

This drink, I’m calling the Smoking Botanist, is made with Highclere Gin, pear liqueur, rosemary peppercorn syrup, and smoked rosemary. 

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

- 2 oz Highclere Gin

- 2 oz Pear Liqueur

- 0.5 oz Brandy

- 1.5 oz lemon juice

- 1 oz Rosemary Peppercorn Simple Syrup*

- 1 smoked rosemary sprig + 1 for garnish

Directions:

1. Torch a rosemary sprig and place under a coupe glass

2. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker. 

3. Add ice and shake until well chilled.

4. Strain into the smoked coupe glass

5. Garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig

*Rosemary Peppercorn Syrup - add 2 rosemary sprigs and 1 tbsp peppercorns to 1 cup of warm simple syrup. Seal and store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
