Gold Rush

Gold Rush_darker.jpg

This refreshing riff on a whiskey sour was first created at NYC’s Milk & Honey and quickly grew in popularity. It uses honey in place of sugar and is super easy to make (only 3 ingredients). It’s the perfect balance of sweet and sour and doesn’t call for any egg whites (like a traditional whiskey sour).

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz bourbon

  • 1 oz of honey syrup (1 part honey, 1 part water)

  • 3/4 oz freshly squeezed lemon juice

Directions:

1) Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker

2) Add ice and shake passionately

3) Strain into a rocks glass with ice

Cheers and enjoy!
