Champs Élysées

This classic sip (named after the famous area in Paris and part of the Sidecar extended family) is made with two french spirits (Cognac and Green Chartreuse), lemon juice, simple syrup, and Angostura bitters.

It has the perfect balance of sweet and tart and the ratio of Cognac to Chartreuse delivers enough herbaceous flavor to compliment the Cognac without taking it over (IMO anyway). It’s definitely worth a try!

Makes 1 serving

Ingredients:

- 1.5 oz Cognac

- 1/4 oz Green Chartreuse

- 3/4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice

- 1/2 oz simple syrup

- 2 dashes Angostura bitters

- Lemon twist for garnish

Directions:

1. Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker.

2. Add ice and shake until well chilled.

3. Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

4. Express the lemon twist and garnish

Cheers!
